Situation : West coast, St Leu Bay. This site belong to Parapente Reunion school, (Ask for authorization. Phone : 02 62 24 87 84).

Altitude : 1 500 m ASL (of course !)
Access : This site take place above La Chaloupe village. Take the same road as to reach Colimaçons site and keep going towards La Chaloupe. Once at the village, take Vaudeville road on the left, continue still 6 km up to a concrete road and follow it. On the right-hand side of the road a panel indicates the site. After 5 minutes walk in the meadows, you are there.
Flight plan : Flying start over La Chaloupe village, then, either quite right towards the sea, or hang up by stealing more from the relief to reach the site of the 800. Indeed, you have numerous other crossing possibilities.
Aerology
:
The ennuagement may be very fast, with cloud cover between 900m
and 1 200m. Take off early, before clouds form to avoid any surprise. Be careful,
the risks are the same that for Colimaçons site
: everything is quiet at the takeoff, but it can
have a lot of wind on the landing ground
near the sea. Please, always watch the sea before
taking off to be sure that there is no strong wind on the beach.
Landing : As for the 800 or the 1 400 takeoff, landing can be done at Ferme Corail after a magnificent flight over the lagoon
Landing is also possible on the beach in front of the cemetery at the south exit of St LEU
