A fantastic site! The possibilities of crossing are numerous. Plan to arrive at the takeoff spot relatively early, because the site can get blocked quickly.

Situation : Region of Saint-Louis (South Coast)

GPS : WGS 84 S:-21.194446 E: 55.485275

Altitude : 2 000 m ASL

Access: is made form the village of " Entre-Deux ", with 4x4 (ask for authorisation at the City hall) or by foot (about 2 hours walk). Difficult to find, please, be well made informed about the road by regular visitor or, better, accompanied by a club member or a professional. You will not be disappointed, either by the flight, or the trek. You can find very nice shelter about an hour's walk from the takeoff, which allows you to spend the night and to be on the site early on the morning (PAYET Emile's house). Certainly Reunion most beautiful flight over a totally virgin primary forest and huge tree ferns, grand view, assured explosion of neurones !

Flight plan : The simplest way is to set to the right after the déco. Go past the hill then follow the chain, always to the right. Count the crests under your feet, until the fourth, if you are on a rather high, you can see Cilaos cirque and Piton des neiges to the right (a great moment !). There, have a small look below : you get to the fifth crest, a littel lower is Entre-deux village, stright ahead Saint-Etienne river which runs out of Cilaos cirque.
Quarter turn to the left, follow the crest up to the cisterns. From there, you can see the football field landing ground. " when shall we go back up again ! "
Crossing possibilities are numerous for fine pilots.

Aerology : Beware of the East wind in the takeoff, you would fall leewards of crests when leaving takeoff ; strong guaranteed turbulences !

Landing: In l'Entre-Deuxt foot-ball pitch. Please, inquire the day before to make sure that there will be no match when you will want to land and do not hesitate coming before takeoff to have a glance at it !
