Validation 20km - 20 pilots RESULTS PILOTS INTERVIEW JEREMIE LAGER - Winner of the first task One done! The first task took place this morning. A course of 61.7 km, in almost alpine conditions! Strong thermals and a flight rhythm not ridiculous (30km / hour). However, one had to be attentive during passages not so easy with the wind and ceilingscloud base rather low.
Roughly " the higher you are, the more beautiful you are"!! The end of the course was materialised by a good change of rythm due to the shade which was offering less generous thermals. Have a great evening and see you tomorrow for the second task!
LUDOVIC ROBERT - 2nd Reunion Pilot It was a very good task, where we flew fast with good conditions, the cloud base wasn't that high, which increase the flight difficulty. The pilots level at the front is very high, and a very great progression of local pilots. It was also the first task of the Reunion Island Championship, with a first finish between Sebastien Coupy and myself which was closed by 35secs. For my part, I am very satisfied with this first task, I managed to fly fast with the leading group, which sets good perspectives for the rest of the competition. The main goal being to finish in front of Seb and that we climb ranks up to the first 10th. |
